Meet Claire Françoise Delevingne - Interview with Boston Voyager
November 24, 2017 / Source
Today we’d like to introduce you to Claire Françoise Delevingne.
Claire, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
At a very young age, I knew I had a different way of “seeing” and experiencing life. I spent my young adulthood seeking out guidance around the world from shamans, medicine people, sages and mystics, seeking to understand and cultivate my gift of heightened sensitivity.
At the same time, I was born with an innate and intense calling to serve others and the planet; working with children, teens, adults and elders professionally and internationally in conjunction with my studies; including Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, New York City, California; conducting research and writing additionally in Tunisia, Morocco, France, Cuba and Cambridge, MA, where I completed my masters in Expressive Art Therapy, with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, as well as my Master Level Reiki Training.
I was born with Clairsentience, which enables me to feel others’ unique energy field, and how it flows within one’s own body. Because of this “felt sense” or deep kinesthetic empathy, I have the ability to pin-point specifically where energy is being held, and what messages one’s body is trying to communicate to their conscious mind about how to bring about greater health and well-being.
I incorporate wisdom from many teachings that I have studied, such as Biodynamic Craniosacral and Herbalism, which help bring form and insight to my healing practice.
The essence, however, of my work comes from a deep state of presence, an inward connection that bridges the knowledge of the unseen, or “spirit” world – with my clients’ every day, waking life.
The teachings I have studied and experienced are tools to help me communicate an unspoken sense of awareness, but the essence of my work remains innate.
I believe that we each have an innate gift and specific purpose to bring forth in this world, and it is such an honor to be able to help others remember theirs.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Being sensitive is a great gift on many levels. Before one hones their sensitivity in, and learns the tools that work to channel it appropriately, it can feel overwhelming- there are very few people who understand the internal mechanisms of what is going on.
At times, along my journey I have felt all alone and misunderstood.
It took me years of learning from Masters around this beautiful World to understand how to use my unique gift in order to help others.
I give thanks to each one of my teachers, and am honored to carry on their wisdom, in order to serve this world with great respect to the source of all healing.
Claire Françoise Delevingne – what should we know? What do you do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I offer individual sessions of Reiki & Reflective Psychotherapy.
I incorporate into my sessions my knowledge of Dance Therapy, body awareness and Herbalism.
I am known to have a heightened awareness, and ground my work in felt sense and creative thinking.
Each session is as unique as the person who comes into session.
Because I travel often researching ancestral healing, I offer Skype sessions which many of my clients opt for in different cities throughout the globe, finding the connection to be just as powerful.
I also teach creative natural movement workshops internationally, known as ECO DANCE.
I believe that Dance is one of the most empowering forms of healing, for the individual and the world.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Hmm, hard to pick just one. I am so proud of all of my clients, they continuously amaze me with their magic.
